Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading European food processor at their Queenslie site in Glasgow. Shifts are 4 on / 4 off, with permanent day and night options; hours 05:30–17:30 and 17:30–05:30.

Salary up to £49,500 DOE with shift allowance. You will apply strong technical knowledge, act as shift expert for machinery such as Proseal, Mondini and Multivac, maintain equipment OEE and minimise downtime, report to Engineering Supervisors, and complete planned

Qualifications

• ONC/NVQ in an Engineering discipline; 18th edition qualification preferred.
• Apprenticeship or formal training in installation and maintenance.
• Experience with packing machinery such as Proseal, Mondini and Multivac.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to maximise OEE and minimise downtime.
• Record maintenance requests and complete fault repairs promptly.
• Progress reporting to Engineering Management/Supervisor.
• Carry out scheduled planned maintenance and start-up checks.
• Comply with health, safety and food safety legislation.
• Liaise with production to meet customer needs.
