Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Clitheroe is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of our packaging and process equipment. You will maintain and repair machinery, minimize downtime and support continuous production on a 3 on 3 off, day and night shift schedule.

Permanent, full-time role with a salary up to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work with cross-functional teams and contribute to site improvements and safety.

Qualifications

• Industry qualification such as HNC/ONC/NVQ in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on packaging and process equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive tasks.
• Diagnose faults to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Lead maintenance and improvement projects to deadlines.
