Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop Technician to join a growing engineering business in Bedfordshire. You will perform mechanical repairs, servicing, maintenance and inspections on a variety of trailers and commercial vehicle equipment in a modern workshop.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience, strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach. Training and development are on offer to progress within the company and explore long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Workshop Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding, repair and maintenance skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
• Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out major and minor repairs on specialist trailers and commercial vehicle equipment.
• Service, maintain and inspect trailers across a range of makes and models.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities, inspections and safety checks.
• Carry out welding and fabrication work where required.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections and vehicle history.
• Complete relevant paperwork, documentation and support warranty claims where required.
