Job summary

Hireco (TL) Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Trailer Technician for a workshop-based role in South Nottingham. You will carry out inspections, servicing and repairs to trailers, and complete defect reports in line with legal and company standards.

Ideal candidates will have an IRTEC certification or Level 3 HGV qualification, 5 years' experience, and a valid driving licence. You will join a team that values quality, safety and excellent customer service, with a company van and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• IRTEC certification or Level 3 HGV qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, servicing and repair of trailers to standards.
• Complete defect reports and paperwork to legal requirements.
• Conduct on-site maintenance checks, diagnostics and minor repairs.
• Ensure safe use of tools and equipment and maintain housekeeping.
• Complete job cards and compliance paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in training when needed.
