Protocol Education is working with a beautiful private nursery in Dunmow that is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 0-4 and deliver EYFS activities. This role offers a 4-day working week, a permanent opportunity, and the chance to join a warm, welcoming team.

Location: Dunmow, Essex (commutable from Chelmsford). Salary: £13.98–£16.20/hour with a competitive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a nursery/early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Nurturing, child-centred approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0-4 years.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
