Job summary

Jancett Childcare is seeking a caring Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team. You will work four days per week (7:30am-6:30pm) and support children's learning, development, and well-being in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will plan and deliver activities under the EYFS framework, observe progress, and work with colleagues to ensure high-quality childcare. A positive, inclusive approach and ability to work with families are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices.
• Ability to observe and record children's progress.
• Strong communication with parents and carers.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, delivery and evaluation of engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
• Ensure safety, welfare and well-being of all children.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support each child.
• Observe, monitor and record children's progress.
• Support children with varying developmental needs, including SEND, inclusively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality childcare and education.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety in the nursery.
