Job summary

Interface Recruitment is seeking a 3rd Line Technical Support Consultant to join our growing Technical Services Operations. You will provide remote and on-site support to clients, diagnose faults, and drive issues to resolution while maintaining excellent customer service and rapport with our client base.

As a Managed Service Provider, you will work with an extensive toolkit including RMM solutions, Windows Server environments, SQL Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience within a Support Team environment.
• Ability to research and solve complex issues without input.
• Providing reasonable time-scales for work and communicating when they need to change.
• Comfortable working alone and within a team.
• Willingness to learn and stay up to date with technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd Line technical support via telephone, remote access and email, keeping within the procedure time limits.
• Be responsible for 3rd line investigation and resolution of incidents escalated from 1st/2nd Line.
• Proactively identify potential serious issues and action to minimise downtime.
• Know when to escalate to the IT Support Team Manager on major incidents.
• Back up investigation and resolution activity with documentation for the knowledge base.
• Log all calls and ensure all records are up to date.
