Job summary

A leading company in the technical support sector is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues while supporting the first and second-line teams. An excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in a Managed Service Provider environment.

Benefits

Holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays

  • Live within a commutable distance to Bristol.

As a member of the Technical Support Team, you will play a vital role in addressing a variety of complex support cases and supporting the first and second line team. Utilising your technical expertise, you will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring that clients receive prompt and effective solutions.

The successful 3rd Line Support Engineer will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Managed Service Provider environment.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications and managed firewalls.
  • Experience with on-premise Microsoft server environment would be desirable.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the offices in Bristol.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Ideally experienced with WatchGuard firewalls (not essential)
