This is a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd line Infrastructure Support Engineer / 4th line / Technical Specialist to join a leading IT support company providing high-quality support to UK and international clients.

The role involves a mix of Infrastructure, IT Support, and project work with key skills including:

• VMware - building from scratch
• SAN - setup and management with deep knowledge
• VEEAM or equivalent backup solutions

Requirements include:

• Strong experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Expertise in Windows Server 2019 onwards
• Experience with physical server hardware (HPE ProLiant / Dell PowerEdge)
• Knowledge of network storage solutions - SAN / NAS (HPE SAN)
• Proficiency in Microsoft environments (ADUC, GPO, Certificate Services)
• Experience installing and configuring backup solutions (Veeam, etc.)
• Basic network knowledge (routing, subnetting, VLANs, Firewalls)
• Exposure to RMM solutions (N-able, Splunk, Arcsight, etc.)
• Full UK Driving Licence and own car

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional technical service to customers
• Manage service tickets following ITIL standards
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Lead technical projects as assigned
• Stay updated with industry trends and share findings with management
• Maintain a proactive attitude towards technical support
• Conduct professional visits to customers
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a 3rd line IT infrastructure engineer supporting listed technologies
• At least 5 years' experience in a customer support role
