Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a delivery driver to support local routes from our Plymouth branches. You will drive locally, helping ensure customers receive their deliveries on time and with a high standard of service.

The role involves loading stock into the vehicle, unloading at customer sites, and completing paperwork accurately. A Cat B / 3.5T licence and at least two years of driving experience are required; weekend shifts may be included.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence.
• Previous driving experience of at least two years.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
