Job summary

Booker Group in the UK is seeking a delivery driver to join our local driving team. Working 45 hours per week, you will deliver to customers, load and unload at the branch, and help ensure on-time deliveries with a friendly service.

The role requires a Cat C / 18T licence and at least two years' driving experience; weekend shifts may apply. We offer overtime opportunities and CPC training hours in a supportive Booker Group environment.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T licence is required.
• Minimum two years of driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally for deliveries and build relationships with regular customers.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Work on an Any 5 from 7 pattern with some weekend shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service and on-time deliveries.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an “Any 5 from 7” contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat C / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
