Job summary

Booker Group in Knowsley, England is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team. You will be loading stock at the branch, delivering to regular customers, and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

Working 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 pattern, some weekend shifts apply. You will be part of a delivery team that values reliability and great service, helping customers keep shelves stocked.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence is essential.
• At least two years of driving experience required.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch.
• Deliver orders to customers to ensure on-time, accurate arrivals.
• Complete paperwork accurately after each delivery.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an "Any 5 from 7" contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
