Job summary

Booker is seeking drivers to work locally, delivering to regular customers and keeping shelves stocked. You’ll be loading stock at the branch, delivering to customer premises, and completing paperwork.

This is a 7-day operation and shift patterns may include weekend work. Fully funded CPC training hours and overtime opportunities are available to support your development and earnings.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T licence required and registration to drive a professional delivery vehicle.
• Previous driving experience is essential; delivery driving experience preferred.
• Good customer service attitude and ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately for deliveries.
• Deliver to customers and maintain good relationships with regular customers.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
