Job summary

BARNTEMP is seeking a 3.5 Tonne Driver to operate around the Battersea area and central London. You will be responsible for deliveries, unloading, packing, and assisting with warehouse tasks, ensuring efficient stock handling and on-time client service.

Hours are 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with the role based in London. Applicants should have a clean UK licence (0 points) and good communication skills; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence with 0 points.
• Experience driving a 3.5 tonne van.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Forklift certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to clients within London area.
• Unload, pack and handle materials.
• Warehouse support and stock replenishment.
• Load and off-load as required.

Job description

3.5 Tonne Driver required for our client in Battersea area of London.

This role is Driving in and around Central London so you must be comfortable with London routes.

Hours: 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday

This role is due to start on Thursday this week.

Salary: £14.00 per hour, holiday pay accrued, PAYE Contract

Duties of 3.5 Tonne Driver:

• Experience in unloading, packing & material handling
• Delivering products to variety of clients within the local area as well as London
• Picking/Packing of items within the Warehouse (if required)
• General Warehouse support
• Loading, Off-Loading and replenishing stock

What are we looking for?!

• Previous experience in driving a 3.5 Tonne van
• Clean UK driving licence with 0 points
• Experience in manual handling & happy with heavy lifting
• Forklift Certificate preferred
• Driving experience in/around London
• Excellent communication skills
