Job summary

Sumer Group is seeking an IT Analyst to join the Operations - IT team in Bolton. This permanent role focuses on on-site end-user support, with close collaboration across the central IT function to ensure reliability, security and performance of the technology environment.

You will handle desktop and laptop troubleshooting, user provisioning, AD/365 administration, system maintenance and incident response. The role offers opportunities to work across multisite projects and develop

Qualifications

• Experience in a 2nd line IT support role within a multisite or professional services environment.
• Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Comfortable using a ticketing system and delivering clear customer-focused support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support in Bolton and remotely where needed, resolving issues at first contact where possible.
• Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and device setup for new starters and leavers.
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching and documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Support security and compliance activities under central IT guidance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with Group IT on Windows 11 endpoints, M365 admin, and security tooling.
