Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is actively seeking a Support Technician to join the End User Devices team. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues across laptops, desktops, printers, tablets and other digital equipment, delivering face-to-face and remote support.

You will also collaborate with the asset management team to track digital assets and ensure timely resolutions, while engaging with third-party suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for all assigned systems and / or hardware, including fault finding, diagnosis and resolution of complex issues.
• Make configuration changes, or data corrections within assigned systems and / or hardware as required.
• Ensure that calls that are referred onto 3rdparty suppliers for a resolution are monitored and have progress updates until resolution.
• Process and resolve user service requests for relevant systems and / or hardware.
