Job summary
Wavenet in the UK is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Service Desk, helping customers get the most from our cybersecurity, communications and connectivity solutions. As part of the team you will be the first point of contact for service desk cases, handling IT support, networking, VoIP, and cloud services, with travel around London to support customers.
You will gain hands-on experience across security, networks, servers, firewalls and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace while

- Background in providing IT support.
- General IT knowledge and understanding
- Good problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of networking and protocols
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for service desk cases.
- Provide IT support to circa 3000 UK schools.
- Escalate when necessary and required.
- Hands-on experience in online security, networking, servers, firewall configuration, data handling, communications, and cloud services.
- Travel around London to support customers.
