Job summary

Wavenet is a UK-based managed services provider delivering cybersecurity, communications, and connectivity. We seek a Network Infrastructure and Telephony Engineer to design, implement, and support WAN/LAN networks, Cisco Call Manager, and Unity, with both remote and on-site work at core data centres.

You will collaborate with the team, follow ITIL and change control processes, and provide escalation support across service desks while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• CCNA or JNCIA certification.
• Experience in ISP/MSP/service desk environments.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and secure own and clients' infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot core network devices (switches/routers, firewalls).
• Provide support to service desk for complex faults or changes.
• Handle change requests with documentation.
• Participate in customer calls and meetings.
• Manage IP Address and VLAN management.
• Configure Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity.
• Remote and on-site work at data centres.
