Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Providing senior technical support to education sector customers.
  2. Ensuring continuity and efficiency of ICT networks.
  3. Managing and maintaining client network environments.
  4. Building strong relationships with key technical contacts at client sites and third parties.
Key Skills
  1. Qualifications such as MCSA, AZs, & ITIL are highly beneficial.
  2. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, including Windows 10 & 11.
  3. Demonstrable experience with Azure & Intune.
  4. Excellent PC problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server OS.
  6. Active Directory setup and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Understanding of virtualization concepts.
  8. Good understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and subnetting.
  9. Experience with backup products, including VM-level solutions.
  10. Knowledge of deployment solutions such as WDS, MDT, and SCCM.
  11. Understanding of managed wireless solutions, including 802.1X security and guest/BYOD networks.
  12. Knowledge of mobile device integration with Windows networks.
  13. Experience with Office 365, Exchange 365, and Papercut.
  14. Experience with web filtering products like LGFL, Smoothwall, Sonicwall, Websense.
  15. Experience with Sophos Enterprise Console and other antivirus systems.
  16. Previous experience in the education sector or with MSPs is beneficial.
  17. Professional and customer service-oriented attitude.
  18. Solutions-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
