Job summary

Mexa Solutions LTD is seeking a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer for an onsite role in Fareham, Hampshire. You will support diverse client environments, handling Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint and networking tasks, while learning from experienced engineers.

You'll troubleshoot desk‑side and server issues, configure devices, manage permissions, onboard new users, and ensure tickets meet SLAs. A full UK driving licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows.
• Experience supporting desktops and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Clear communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
• Ability to manage priorities, take ownership and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Investigate issues when a customer's technology stops working, explain what happened and take responsibility for getting them back up and running.
• Tackle issues ranging from Microsoft 365 access to Windows Server faults, Intune device issues or networking challenges.
• Configure devices, manage permissions and help onboard new users and customers.
• Provide remote technical support across customer environments and maintain SLA-driven tickets.
• Maintain clear documentation so knowledge stays within the team.
