Are you a confident, well-rounded IT professional who thrives in a customer-facing environment? We’re working with a fast-growing, modern IT Services provider that supports a broad range of customers across multiple sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, supportive technical team where no two days are the same.

You’ll work both from the company’s Manchester HQ and directly onsite with customers, delivering end-to-end IT support and consultancy services. This is a varied role offering significant exposure to cloud, networking, virtualisation, and a host of industry-specific technologies.

? The Role:

You’ll be part of a high-performing technical team providing support to clients across hardware, software, cloud, and infrastructure services. This includes both remote and field-based support, so strong communication and customer interaction skills are essential.

? Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across a wide range of IT infrastructure, including servers, SANs, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, NAS, desktops, and other business-critical systems.
  • Deliver both remote and onsite support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service desk documentation.
  • Take ownership of support tasks and manage workload independently or as part of a team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, seeking feedback and continuously improving.
  • Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 quality and security standards.
  • Stay current with new technologies and contribute to the team’s technical capability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a Manged Services Service Desk or Field-based IT support role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft 365), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls), and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Confident, professional, and organised approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

? Key Stakeholders:

You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, leadership, and project management) as well as external customers, vendors, and partners.

  • 37.5 hours per week (plus additional hours when required)
