A leading hospital is seeking an Assistant Practitioner for its Medical Imaging Department. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who want to develop their career within the Medical Imaging Department of a busy District General Hospital in the role of an Assistant Practitioner.
We welcome applications from accredited Assistant Practitioners, already working within a Diagnostic Medical Imaging Department or other clinical areas, and also individuals with an equivalent level of qualification who are keen to gain hands-on experience in imaging.
The post will provide the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in one or more imaging modalities including CT, MRI, and plain film radiography.
You will join a friendly and welcoming team, working together to provide a high-quality, responsive diagnostic service and deliver excellent patient care in line with the Trust's core values. You will be expected to maintain high clinical standards, with patients at the forefront of your practice.
We operate a 7-day service covered by a shift system; night shifts are not required, but weekends are included. A flexible approach to working is essential, and the applicant may work at both the hospital trust site and the community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in the town centre.
