A leading NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an RNA/AP for their Endoscopy Unit on a fixed-term basis until October 2025. This part-time role involves providing high-quality clinical support during endoscopy procedures, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. Ongoing training will be provided to support professional development.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Endoscopy Unit at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Organisation for an RNA/ AP to join our existing Endoscopy team on a fixed-term basis until October 2025 for maternity leave cover, on a part-time basis.
The Endoscopy Unit within the NHS Foundation Trust is JAG accredited. The service includes a 3-room Endoscopy unit delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to all patients.
The primary focus of this role is to provide effective, high-quality service related to specific clinical procedures within the Endoscopy Unit. This involves undertaking a range of clinical procedures, requiring knowledge of the procedures and the ability to handle non-routine activities such as managing complications, answering patient questions, and monitoring progress during and after procedures under supervision.
The post holder should be motivated, able to work as part of a well-established team, and possess excellent communication skills to support the daily operations of the service.
Training will be ongoing to support professional development.
The role requires organizational skills, independence, and excellent communication abilities to support the team in the day-to-day operation of the unit.
