This post will predominantly be in the East network.

District Nursing teams are part of the Integrated Health and Social Care Teams based in North Lincolnshire Community Services. Although based in one network, you may work from any community base if required.

The Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner will work within their scope of practice, as defined by the NMC Code (2018) and Standards of Proficiency (2018), providing holistic, person-centred care.

They may participate in audits and service improvement initiatives and supervise/support HCAs, Trainee Nursing Associates, and Pre-registration nurses.

This role is expected to evolve with further skill development based on NMC guidelines and the Nursing Associate role development.
