Job summary

The Springfield Academy is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the academy team in Calne, Wiltshire. The role involves carrying out cleaning tasks as per the school’s cleaning schedule, with hours outside the normal school day.

Contract is permanent, part-time (14.5 hours per week, term-time plus 3 weeks). The successful candidate will be reliable, flexible and work as part of a small team; LGPS pension and development opportunities are offered.

The Springfield Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a part-time Cleaner to join the Academy Team.

Post: Cleaner

Location: The Springfield Academy, Calne, Wiltshire

FTE Salary Range: Grade B Pt 2, £24,413 per annum

Actual Annual Salary: £9,510.47 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, term-time plus 3 weeks (42 weeks per annum)

Contract Hours: 14.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 3pm-6pm Friday 3.30-6pm

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Cleaners to carry out cleaning tasks set out in the school's cleaning schedule.

Please note that these hours will not be during the school day.

The successful candidate will need to be reliable, flexible and happy to work as part of a small, dedicated team.

About the School

The Springfield Academy is a Reach South Academy for young people aged 5-19 with autism. We currently have 250 pupils attending our site in Calne. Our goal is to build safe independent lives for autistic young people through support, understanding and enablement.

Springfields is a fantastic, vibrant and caring community that engages pupils and develops positive attitudes to learning. Our autism approach is accessed by all our pupils and is personalised to meet specific needs. All our pupils have an education, health and care plan.

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 17 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire.
