Reach South Academy Trust is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the GAIL Academy school office in Gloucestershire. Based in the reception and office area, you will support front-of-house enquiries, records, payments and mail distribution while working closely with the Office Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent, GCSE English/Maths, and proficient IT skills.

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E Pt 6 - 8; £25,989 - £26,824
Actual Salary Range: £23,127 - £23,870
Contract Type: Permanent, full time, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract Hours: 37 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills who can remain calm, efficient and positive when managing a range of competing priorities. Previous experience of working within a school office would be advantageous; however, we would also welcome applications from candidates who are enthusiastic, quick to learn and keen to develop their skills within an educational setting. Gloucestershire Academy for Inspirational Learning is a specialist school for 200 pupils aged 4-16 opening at the start of 2027, with pupils phasing into the school across three years.
The school’s designation is Moderate and Additional Learning Difficulties (MALD) and will cater for autistic pupils, those with speech and language differences, SEMH and those with learning differences in their cognitive profiles.
The school will be based in the Wheatridge area of Gloucestershire in a brand-new purpose-built building with outstanding facilities specifically tailored for SEND learners.
