NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a friendly, motivated receptionist to join the Midpark Reception Hub Team on a fixed-term contract for 9 months (07/12/2026–05/12/2027).
You will be the first point of contact for staff, professional visitors, patients and their families, delivering excellent customer service while coordinating room bookings, ordering stock, and supporting safety and security checks across the hospital.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Midpark Reception Hub Team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team within our reception. This is a fixed term opportunity for 9 months only from 07/12/2026 to 05/12/2027.
The post holder will be acting as a focal point of contact for all staff, professional visitors, patients and their families.
The post holder will be expected to welcome visitors and staff to Midpark hospital. The reception team also complete and assist with a range of duties such as booking rooms, stock ordering and auditing, safety and security checks and sorting mail and deliveries for all areas within the hospital.
The post requires flexibility to cover a variation of working hours based over the seven day opening hours, this will include week ends.
