Job summary

Exolum is seeking an Operator at the Bramhall site to enable 24/7 aviation fuel operations, including control, receipt, handling, storage and delivery, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will join a safety-focused team, manage pipeline receipts, tank transfers and loading, and contribute to continuous improvements while complying with SHE rules and procedures.

The role requires a proactive, resilient individual with a clean driving license and readiness for 24/7 shift cover in a regulated

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Experience in regulated industries with strong operational, maintenance and safety knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and terminal ICT systems; full clean driving licence; flexibility for 24/7 shift cover.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient terminal operations including pipeline receipts, tank transfers, and loading of road tankers.
• Communicate with terminal staff to ensure smooth handovers and record-keeping.
• Contribute to terminal SOP reviews and updates and flag areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with terminal safety rules and participate in SHE audits.
• Manage permits, gas testing and isolation checks; participate in training and driver/contractor audits.
• Complete training within required timeframes to maintain competency.
