Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a NOC Engineer to manage production platforms in AWS with Kubernetes and Docker, remotely from the UK. You’ll monitor, respond to incidents and drive automation to improve reliability in a 24/7, rota-driven environment.

You’ll collaborate with Software, Platform and Security Engineers, build observability, and contribute to post-incident reviews to continuously raise operational standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in production engineering/Cloud Operations or NOC environments.
• Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and containerised workloads.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain highly available production platforms on AWS.
• Respond to and manage 24/7 production incidents.
• Develop automation to reduce manual tasks and improve resilience.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and observability across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive reliability and post-incident improvements.
