Job summary

We are seeking Support Workers to join our Core 24 Mental Health Team at Whiston Hospital, part of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s 24/7 Urgent Care Model. Core 24 delivers round-the-clock support to individuals in crisis across hospital settings including Whiston, Warrington, Aintree, Royal Liverpool and Southport.

Role involves direct care and observation under supervision, reporting observations and risk factors, and working with service users on individual and group care plans.

Qualifications

• Direct care and observation of service users.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and observation of service users within Core 24.
• Report observations, risk factors and progress to qualified staff.
• Work with service users individually and in groups as outlined in care plans.
