Job summary

Timpson in Chelmsford is seeking enthusiastic locksmith engineers to join our trusted 24/7 service team. Whether you are experienced or starting out, you’ll receive comprehensive training and work across our local branches to protect customers’ properties.

You’ll operate a fully equipped van, carry PPE, and use a PDA/phone to manage bookings. A clean driving licence and willingness to pass a DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have a clean driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check due to role requirements.
• Good computer literacy and ability to manage electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Provide a 24/7 locksmith service to customers.
• Manage electronic bookwork using a PDA/phone.
• Operate from a fully equipped van with tools and PPE.
• Work with scheduling teams to meet customer needs.
