A leading nationwide maintenance company in Rochdale is seeking experienced locksmiths to join their fast-paced team on a self-employed basis. The role offers a consistent flow of work, with support from the head office, and requires candidates to be confident in all aspects of locks and have the necessary qualifications. Whether to supplement current earnings or to find a new opportunity, this position can be tailored to fit individual needs.

Qualifications

• Be confident in all aspects of locks, including gaining entry, lock replacement, and fresh installations.
• Carry sufficient stock to complete most basic replace/refit works.
• Have access to your own works vehicle for travel.
• Act in a polite and professional manner.
• Not only do we operate a service for domestic customers, but we also work closely with Estate Agents, Housing Associations and Facility/Property Management, for their everyday property maintenance needs.
• Hold a locksmith accreditation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cover reactive work for the company on a self-employed/contracting basis.
• Provide a professional service for domestic customers and businesses.
• Interact with Estate Agents, Housing Associations, and Property Management.
• Maintain professional and courteous interaction with customers.
• Collaborate with property managers and housing partners for upkeep needs.
