A leading nationwide reactive maintenance company is seeking experienced locksmiths to join their team in Oldham. This self-employed role allows you to manage your schedule while handling various tasks, including gaining entry, replacing locks, and managing customer interactions. You will receive a consistent flow of local work and 24-hour support. Ideal candidates must possess locksmith accreditation, health and safety qualifications, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be confident in all aspects of locks, including gaining entry and installations.
• Need sufficient stock for basic replace/refit works.
• Access to a works vehicle to travel to and from jobs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete reactive work in a timely manner.
• Operate service for domestic customers and property management.
• Provide 24-hour support and handle customer interaction.
• Operate in a polite and professional manner.
• Work with domestic clients as well as Estate Agents and Housing Associations for routine property maintenance.

You will need to:

• Be confident in all aspects of locks, including gaining entry, lock replacement and fresh installations
• Carry sufficient stock to be able to complete most of the basic replace/refit works
• Have access to your own works vehicle to travel to and from job
• Act in a polite and professional manner
• Not only do we operate a service for domestic customers, but we also work closely with Estate Agents, Housing Associations and Facility/Property Management, for their everyday property maintenance needs
• Hold a locksmith accreditation or equivalent
• Health and Safety Qualifications
• Risk Assessment Qualification (preferred not essential)
