Job summary

Surelock McGill Group is seeking a Trainee Installation Engineer to join our nationwide installation and service team. Based in Greater Manchester, with work across London and Bristol, you’ll be trained to install, service and maintain our security doors, locks and related products at customer sites throughout the UK.

You don’t need previous locksmith or door engineering experience; we’re looking for a practical, reliable person with a good attitude who is willing to learn and travel as

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and doing practical work.
• Happy to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Flexible with working hours and occasional weekend work.
• Able to interact professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain specialist security doors, locks and products at customer sites across the UK.
• Work with experienced team members and progress as skills grow.
• Complete security vetting where required.
• Travel as needed and adapt to varied sites.
