Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Derby is seeking a Building Services Operations Specialist to join our 24/7 facilities management team on a rotating shift pattern. You will monitor and maintain gas boiler and air systems, respond to alarms, conduct routine maintenance, and work across building services with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

This role requires Gas Safe and BOAS qualifications, the ability to work in plant rooms, and collaborative teamwork within the on-site Rolls-Royce

Qualifications

• Gas Safe certification and BOAS qualification required.
• Experience with commercial boiler operations and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls.
• Familiarity with alarm systems including fire and security.
• Basic electrical knowledge for plant room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor gas boiler and air compressor systems.
• Provide 24/7 alarm monitoring and response for building systems.
• Conduct routine plant room maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and incidents.
• Coordinate with emergency services and external contractors.
