Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Building Services Operations Specialist to join our 24/7 facilities management team in Derby. The role covers monitoring, maintenance and emergency response for building systems on a 6:00–18:00 or 6:00–14:00/10:00–18:00 rotating pattern, with a focus on gas, boiler, BMS and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold Gas Safe certification (or equivalent) and BOAS, have experience with commercial boiler operations, and be able to work across plant rooms

Qualifications

Gas Safe certification or equivalent gas systems qualification required.
Certified via the Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS)
Experience with commercial boiler operations, maintenance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor building services and boiler/gas systems to ensure safe operation.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plant rooms and AHU/BMS interfaces.
Respond to system alarms and emergency situations 24/7.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, alarm responses and incidents.
Collaborate with facilities team and contractors for seamless operations.
