Job summary

Oak View Group at The Market, 22 Bishopsgate, London, is seeking energetic bartenders to deliver outstanding service in a dynamic food and beverage destination. You will craft drinks, engage a diverse guest base, and contribute to a thriving events space within a landmark workplace environment.

This hourly contract role offers 30+ hours weekly with pay up to £14.80 per hour plus a monthly service charge. Benefits include tastings, meals on duty, training, and staff discounts across our venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality environments such as bars, pubs, or restaurants.
• Knowledge of beverages, wines, beers, and cocktails is advantageous.
• Attitude, enthusiasm and genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests and staff.
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and cocktails.
• Maintaining high standards of bar presentation, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Processing orders accurately during busy service periods.
• Supporting bar, restaurant, café, and event operations as needed.

Role Purpose

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests, colleagues, and visitors
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks, beers, wines, and cocktails
• Maintaining high standards of bar presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
• Processing orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy during busy service periods
• Supporting bar, restaurant, café, and event operations as required

What We're Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• A professional and polished approach to customer service
• Previous hospitality experience in a bar, pub, restaurant, or similar bartending role
• Good knowledge of beverages, wines, beers, and cocktails, or a willingness to learn
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues
