Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking warehouse workers in Andover to manage stock movement and ensure safety standards. Mploy Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting warehouse workers for our client based in Andover. You will be asked to work as part of a large team in our client’s 340,000 sq warehouse. Our client is offering a variety of value-added services to the customers, including next day delivery, bill and hold, pre-delivery inspection and configuration services

Monday to Friday

06.00 – 14.30 shift – £12.65 per hour (Including £0.57 per hour attendance bonus)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate stock movement in and out of the warehouse, including manual stock movement across the warehouse.
• Lifting and putting away boxes across a large warehouse area.
• Picking, packaging and labeling stock before being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Stock replenishing.
• Ability to work within company policies and objectives.
• Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.
• Keeping your work area and the warehouse clean and tidy.

Key Skills

• A good level of general physical fitness is required – including being able to walk, stand, bend and lift for long periods of time.
• An organised and methodical approach to work.
• Able to follow warehouse processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
• Able to work independently and as part of a large, diverse team.
• Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.
• A good level of spoken English language.
• Previous experience not necessary as full training will be provided

Contract

This position is temp ongoing with the possibility of permanent contract for the right candidate.
