Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a Flows Planning Administrator at Trafford Distribution Centre on a fixed 12-month maternity cover. You’ll be the operational heartbeat of our shipments, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-schedule flow while collaborating with a supportive team.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, results oriented, with a logical approach and strong communication skills. Health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Plan the day-to-day inbound/outbound of the operation and be a key point of contact for factories, suppliers, transport companies and customers.
  • Be the operational heartbeat of shipments, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently and on schedule.
  • Integrate FEX files and build daily despatch and collection schedules.
  • Drive KPIs of sustainability and cost-to-serve in line with Our Environment and Our Future.

The successful candidate should be self-driven and results orientated. In addition, they will have a logical approach and possess strong communication skills. The successful individual must show a proactive responsibility towards his or her own health and safety, and that of their colleagues.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Ensure that we serve ‘Our Customers’ to the highest possible standard.
  • Plan the day to day inbound/outbound of ‘Our Operation’ and be a key point of contact for our factories, suppliers, transportcompaniesand customers.
  • Support ‘ Our People’ by liaising with the Supply Chain and O2C teams to efficiently manage daily processes to consistently deliver our business.
  • Be responsible forthe integration of FEX files and building the daily despatch and collection schedules.
  • Be resilient in your approach to delivering the best possible operational daily plan and also drive our KPIs of sustainability in line with ‘ Our Environment’ and cost to serve in line with ‘Our Future’ .
  • Ensure that all documentation is managed and processed within group and legal norms.
