Job summary

Copthorne Primary School is seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to lead our 2-year-old room, delivering high-quality activities and ensuring every child gets the best possible start. You will work within Exceed Academies Trust to inspire colleagues, promote positive behaviour, and support children’s early development in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Relevant Level 3 qualification is required, with nursery or school-based EYFS experience, and a passion for early learning.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education.
• Experience working in a nursery or school-based early years setting.
• Ability to assist in planning and delivering activities to promote learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering activities that promote learning.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the 2 year old room.
• Promote positive behaviour and social interaction, supporting children's emotional wellbeing.
• Use and develop EYFS skills to support learning and development.
• Have experience in a nursery or school-based early years setting.
• Lead the two-year-old room and inspire colleagues through quality practice.
