Job summary

Convergence Group is seeking a 1st Line NOC Engineer in Solihull to resolve technical issues, provide strong customer service, and support network hardware like routers and switches. You’ll work shifts, engage with field engineers, and develop your telecoms career within a growing, hands-on environment.

You’ll need at least 1 year in a busy service desk or NOC, solid LAN/WAN knowledge, and a networking qualification in progress or completed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s support experience in a busy, customer-focused service desk or NOC.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.
• Working towards or achieved a networking qualification such as CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch customer service by resolving technical issues and keeping customers in the loop.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity problems and collaborate with field engineers to fix hardware.
• Use tools to track down problems and manage incidents in ServiceNow with escalation when needed.
• Assist with hardware and vendor management to ensure swift fault resolution.
