Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking a skilled 13-tonne excavator operator for our BN27 site. You will operate a Hitachi excavator with a selector grab, focusing on safety and efficiency on a busy waste/recycling environment. This full-time role requires reliability and the ability to work independently.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm, location BN27, with in-person work. NPORS certification is essential, along with a good understanding of site health and safety procedures.

13 Tonne Excavator Operator – NPORS

Location: BN27
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time

We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team at in BN27

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating a 13-tonne Hitachi excavator fitted with a selector grab and will be confident working safely and efficiently in a busy site environment.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience operating a 13-tonne Hitachi excavator
• Experience using a selector grab is essential
• NPORS certification or equivalent/better
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Previous experience in a waste/recycling or similar environment would be advantageous
