Job summary

NRL Group is seeking an experienced 25 Tonne Excavator Operator for a busy civil engineering project in Teesside. The role requires safe operation, adherence to drawings, and collaboration with groundworkers and site management.

Applicants must hold CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator certification and CSCS Card, with proven 25T excavator experience on civil projects, plus drainage and foundations experience. Full PPE provided. Immediate start.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, foundations and groundworks preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety regulations.

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 25 Tonne Excavator Operator to work on a busy civil engineering project based in Teesside. This is an ongoing opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator with previous experience working on civil sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of a 25-tonne excavator.
• Carrying out excavation works in line with site drawings and specifications.
• Trenching, drainage, foundations, and general earthworks.
• Working closely with groundworkers and site management.
• Daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with general site duties where required.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator certification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proven experience operating a 25T excavator on civil engineering projects.
• Previous experience in drainage, foundations, and general groundworks preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Full PPE required.
