Job summary

SSE plc's SSEN Transmission is seeking a Site Construction Manager to join the Onshore Capital Delivery team on the 132kV Overhead Line replacement project between Fort Augustus and Ardmore, Isle of Skye. This site-based, permanent role requires strong on-site leadership and delivery to time and budget.

You will work with contractors, provide weekly/monthly reporting, and ensure compliance with CDM, H&S, and NEC contracts while maintaining ITPs and KPIs.

Qualifications

Experience delivering large infrastructure construction projects on-site.
Proven ability to monitor ITPs, KPIs and quality controls.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations including CDM and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

Manage on-site works with contractors to meet programme, budget and quality.
Produce weekly/monthly reports for the Project Manager and maintain documentation.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM, and statutory requirements.
Maintain planning consents records and photographic progress.
Coordinate with operations and deliver safe, environmentally responsible works.
