Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Operatives and Drivers with Traffic Management experience to join a leading UK traffic management client. Roles include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing flow and ensuring safety, reading CAD traffic management drawings and reporting to site/operations managers.

Candidates must have 12D M5 Lantra Approved Qualification, be able to pass drugs & alcohol checks, have right to work in the UK and be a team player. RAMS and HSE compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management and operating in UK road or site environments.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD-based traffic management drawings.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights and manage traffic flow at worksites.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and RAMS.
• Report defects and incidents to site/operations management.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and apply to site works.
• Work reliably to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining safety.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
