Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join its UK operations. Roles include setting up traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings. Candidates should have the M5 Lantra qualification and be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.

Right to work in the UK required. We are looking for team players who can work with direct and sub-contract labour to meet targets on time, while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the RAMS provided.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights and managing traffic flow according to requirements.
• Reading CAD drawings to implement traffic management plans.
• Ensuring safety and RAMS compliance on site.
• Reporting any issues to site or operations manager.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials and general on-site duties.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
