Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is looking for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives with experience in traffic control. You will be setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow and ensuring safety on site.

Ideal candidates read CAD drawings, work with direct or sub-contract labour, and meet targets while maintaining high professional standards. Right to work in the UK and Lantra 12D M5 qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations is required or preferred.
• Ability to interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Candidates should be reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Qualified operatives should have Lantra 12D M5 as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights where required and manage flow at traffic signals.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings to ensure correct layouts.
• Coordinate with site/operations managers and report issues promptly.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with RAMS and safety regulations.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials and set up/clear traffic management as needed.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
