Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee/Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will work with direct and subcontract labour, setting up traffic controls, reading CAD drawings, and ensuring safety and timely project completion.

Ideal candidates hold a 12D M5 Lantra qualification, can pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, and have the right to work in the UK. Team players with reliability are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management across the UK preferred.
• Ability to read CAD traffic management drawings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights to ensure public safety.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
