Job summary

Tate & Lyle is seeking a Production Planner for a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and executing the production and batch preparation schedule using SAP and internal systems, in collaboration with Operations and Procurement teams.

You will convert orders into a Master Production Schedule, adjust plans for bottlenecks, monitor allergen constraints, and support continuous improvement across supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Forecasting and planning administration experience.
• FMCG experience (5+ years) preferred including materials control.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer orders into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and produce daily plans.
• Support operational planning to meet goals and optimize supply chain; adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain planning notes complying with allergen and complexity constraints.
• Coordinate with Procurement for Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Communicate with Warehouse about inbound goods and daily manifests.
• Assist with toll manufacturers and 3rd party logistics for materials and finished goods.
• Lead kosher production planning with external suppliers for certifications.
• Adhere to EH&S, quality and security procedures.
