Job summary

Teign Housing is seeking an IT Analyst to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will help maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, software applications, telephony, and digital systems to support our communities and staff.

We value proactive problem-solving, strong IT knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support while upholding security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an IT department or with recognised IT/digital qualifications.
  • Proven track record of supporting staff and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective IT support to users and systems.
  • Monitor and maintain network, infrastructure and system performance.
  • Install, configure and maintain software, servers, networks and communications equipment.

  • Maintain IT security compliance with legislation and standards.

About the IT Analyst Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team and play a key role in providing and maintaining an efficient, secure, and cost-effective technology environment that supports our organisation and the communities we serve.

In this role, you will help maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, software applications, telephony equipment, Housing Management Systems, and digital corporate systems. You will contribute to the design and development of technology solutions that support Teign Housing7s objectives and enable colleagues to deliver excellent services.

What you7ll be doing

As our IT Analyst, you will:

  • Delivering effective IT support services to users and systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining network, infrastructure and system performance
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software, servers, networks and communications equipment
  • Supporting IT equipment setup, maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining IT security compliance with legislation and standards
  • Supporting cyber security activities, testing and remediation
  • Managing IT equipment, consumables and stock levels
  • Creating and maintaining IT documentation, reports and user guides
  • Support development and maintenance of business continuity plans
  • Liaising with third-party IT suppliers and support providers
  • Collaborating on IT projects to build knowledge and capability
